the last week in february i went on a cruise with 3 friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. it was so much fun and a much needed vacation. i think i'll try and go on cruises again, they're a good time for sure!
i just got back from the beautiful hawaiian island kaua'i. i swear i want to move there, i've never felt like i was home in utah (the cold and i don't get along-- might be because i'm constantly 10 degrees colder than everyone else i think) but when i'm in kaua'i i feel like i belong there. just saying if i move you all need to come visit me okay.
SHIT-BALLS, yep i said it. i want to vomit. stupid stupid politicians and their healthcare reform. i think if i don't move to hawaii maybe i'll go somewhere else. the u.s. is starting to be a frightening place to live.

Hi Heather...thanks for your sweet comments on my blog. Dr. Yost is the sweetest man and I feel so blessed that he was Hughie's neonatalogist. Hughie got the best care...made me realize the importance of being a good nurse. The resident that checked me and got things started was Dr. Lee...I think (my memory of that night is a bit foggy). She didn't actually help with the c-section, it was my MD and one of his partners that did the surgery. The nurses taking care of me were wonderful as well...I'm sure you are great at taking care of those mammas at the U. Hope you are doing well...thanks again.
